Collection: Sakurao

Sakurao whiskies are produced in Hiroshima by Sakurao Distillery and reflect the company’s move to fully Japanese whisky production. The Sakurao Single Malt is distilled, matured, and bottled in Japan, with a clean, elegant style shaped by coastal aging and a mix of ex‑bourbon, ex‑sherry, American oak, and Mizunara casks, sometimes with a light touch of peat. Alongside this, the distillery also produces Togouchi, a derivative brand made from sourced overseas whiskies that are matured in a railway tunnel in the Hiroshima mountains.
