Our journey started at an outdoor pub about decade ago with a group of friends in Melbourne. Little did we know, their drink recommendation of Laphroaig with one ice cube would help foster an interest in the world of whisky. Years later that “interest” became a passion, when we were gifted an exceptional bottle of whisky. The Hibiki 12 Year Old. From the first sip of that dram, we wanted to try every type of Japanese whisky that we could get our hands on.
