Signatory Vintage Speyside (M) 15 Year Old, Small Batch #18

A "secret" Speyside icon: Macallan spirit (the "(M)") distilled in 2009, matured 15 years and bottled by Signatory in 2025. This 700ml marriage of three first-fill Oloroso sherry butts is bottled at 48.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, so the reddish-gold hue and oily texture come through in full.

Nose: Sherry-driven and classic. Dried cranberries, sultanas, gingerbread and vanilla, opening to orange marmalade and floral honey.

Palate: Rich and velvety. Dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts and Christmas cake spice, with drying Oloroso nuttiness balanced by red apple skin and butterscotch.

Finish: Long and drying. Cinnamon, nutmeg and old leather, ending on blackberry jam and soft oak.
