The Amahagan World Malt Edition No.3 – Mizunara Wood Finish

It's interesting to note that 'World Malt Edition No. 3' isn't a Japanese whisky at all. The distillery specifies that it uses mostly imported Scottish whisky. There is some Nagahama Distillery liquid in the Amahagan range, but no one knows how much. However, because grain isn't listed in the components, it's clear that solely malt whisky is used. The scents of red apple and ripe juicy orange orchard fruits, caramel sweetness, and fragrant wood fall on the nose. It tastes like Terry's Chocolate Orange leads to dark caramel and vibrant fruity flavors on the palate. The notes of dark cocoa, citrus, and wood on the finish.
