Bellarine distillery The ‘OAK’ Series BATCH #3

The ‘OAK’ Series is the first release in our flagship series. It is a celebration of the rich and complex characters that oak can impart to malt spirit during maturation.

Featuring double maturation the first aging occurs in red wine French oak barrels sourced from regional Victoria followed by a second maturation in American oak bourbon barrels. 

BATCH #3 TASTING NOTES

Nose: Apple & plum crumble, vanilla custard and Butter Snap cookies.

Palate: Scottish shortbread, light golden syrup. Creamy pannacotta with dried apricot.

Finish: Long, elegant, creamy & nutty.
