Tasting Notes

Nose:
Immediate waves of intense Islay peat smoke, bonfire ash, and smouldering driftwood, lifted by bright citrus peel and fresh green apple. Hints of vanilla pod, coconut, and toasted oak emerge beneath the smoke, with subtle maritime salinity in the background.

Palate:
Viscous and mouth‑coating, the peat is bold yet controlled. Charred oak, black pepper, and earthy smoke dominate initially, followed by bursts of lemon zest, malt sweetness, and creamy vanilla. A gentle herbal note and subtle sweetness balance the power of the peat.
