The newest single malt addition from Chiefs Son distillery, the Tanist is a smooth, sweet, yet rich whisky which is forged by a long marriage of spirit in ‘double wood’. Essentially using two types of oak barrels to mature the spirit. First matured in American oak and vatted together with ex-sherry French Oak casks.
