Lark Fire Trail No. 151 is a flavour‑forward Tasmanian single malt from Lark Distillery and marks the entry point into the distillery’s luxury portfolio. Distilled at Lark’s Pontville site, it is matured in rare Australian fortified wine casks—Port, PX (Pedro Ximénez), Apera (sherry), and Muscadelle—before a finishing period in ex‑bourbon and American oak wine casks. The whisky is unpeated, yet shaped by Lark’s signature applewood‑smoked water, lending a subtle savoury nuance to an otherwise rich, fruit‑driven style. Tasting Notes
Nose

Rich and layered, with chocolate ganache and stewed mulberries unfolding into vanilla custard and apricot compote. Fortified wine casks contribute depth and sweetness, balanced by gentle oak and a light savoury note.
Finish
Long and warming, showing cocoa‑dusted hazelnuts, coconut cream, sultanas, and a lingering touch of bush honey, fading with soft oak and subtle umami richness.
