Nant Sherry Cask

Just an hour from Hobart is the historic Nant Estate, home to the Nant Distillery. A key ingredient in Nant’s success is the pristine water that flows down from a one million-year-old glacial lake in the Tasmanian Highlands. An intriguing balance of sweet and spice, this takes plenty of influence from its ex-sherry cask and is as smooth as it is balanced. A nose of rich maple, citrus and fig is complemented by hints of hazelnut, almond and spice. On the palate enjoy orange toffee, sherry and heated dried fruits, with slight oak flavours, nuts and coffee on the finish.
