Säntis Malt is a distinctive Swiss single malt whisky produced at the Dreifaltigkeitsdistillery in Appenzell. Renowned for its innovative maturation, Säntis Malt is aged in old beer casks previously used for the region’s traditional Appenzeller beer, giving it a unique character. medium amber with reddish reflections butterscotch, vanilla, roasted almonds, and dried walnut; Dried fruits like Dried plum, raisin, and fig with hints of dried banana chips. Much Maltiness and typical sherry aromas. very spicy, classic beer barrel aromas, raisins, roasted nuts, creme brulee, toffee and discreet spices The Alpstein No. 19 is a medium amber with reddish copper reflections. Already When poured it gives off an intoxicating smell. The first smell proves it the Alpstein 19 is a worthy continuation of the series. Butterscotch, vanilla, a touch of roasted almonds but also dried walnuts, and dark dried fruits reminiscent of prunes, figs, and dried banana chips. A present maltiness is surrounded by winey sherry aromas, rounded off by raisins and some dark chocolate on the bouquet.
