Togouchi is a Japanese whisky brand produced by Sakurao Brewery and Distillery in Hiroshima Prefecture. Uniquely matured in an old railway tunnel near the town of Togouchi, the whiskies benefit from a cool, stable environment that encourages slow ageing. In the oak casks used for aging white wines in Japanese wineries, Togouchi matured Sake (junmai-shu) brewed by them and then used the Sake Cask to wood finish for Togouchiwhisky
